The lyrics are written around what you type. Names and one detail make it yours; leave it empty for a general rap.

Pay per video, no subscription. Your video is usually ready about 5 minutes after payment, and you're only charged once it's ready.

By previewing, you confirm that everyone in these photos agreed to this use, and you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

How to make a funny birthday video

Three steps, from your photos to their birthday rap.

  1. Pick two people

Add two portraits or one photo of you together. Everyone in the photos needs to agree to be in the video.

  2. Write the birthday line

Tap Birthday under “Who's it for?”, then add their name and one detail, like their age or an inside joke. The lyrics are written around it.

  3. Preview, then make it

Pick a stage and preview it as a still image. If you like it, choose your video and pay once.

Funny birthday video ideas

A personalized birthday video comes down to who takes the mic and one real detail: a name, an age, a running joke. Here are four lines to start from.

  • For a best friend

You and another friend take the mic.

Happy birthday, Jess! 30 today and still the first one on the dance floor

  • For your partner

You and their best friend team up.

Happy birthday, Sam, from the two people who laugh at all your jokes

  • For Mom or Dad

You and your brother or sister step up.

Happy birthday, Dad! From your two favorite kids, who still can't beat you at cards

  • For a coworker

Two teammates rap it for the whole team.

Happy birthday, Priya, the only one on the team who reads the whole email

Everyone in the photos must agree before you preview. Keeping it a surprise? Put yourselves on stage and keep the birthday star in the lyrics.
